Morning!
Found my Ipod after months of thinking it was gone forever. It was under the passenger seat in my car--go figure. This is a first generation Ipod Shuffle. You know the one that is about 4 inches long with no bells and whistles? Well in spite of that, it brings me the most pleasure. I mostly take it when I am flying. It relaxes and soothes me like a baby with a pacifier.
Every now and then I play it around the house and always wonder why I don't do that more often. It really doesn't take much to make us happy and yet we don't take the time to reward ourselves with the small pleasures in life--a walk on a beautiful day, looking through old photographs, dancing to old tunes (can't say records any more).
There are so many things we can do to enjoy life and be happy that don't require spending any more money than we already have, don't require gas, and don't require anything but our attention to the moment.
What's your pleasure? Go enjoy it right now!
